Girls in Sailing - Breathwork Day
As part of the Girls in Sailing experience, Jeyda Deyna will join the group for a dedicated day focused on breath, focus, confidence, and nervous system regulation on and off the water.
The experience will include:
• A presentation and guided breathwork experience following the morning games
• A pre-sail check-in before the group heads out on the water in the afternoon
• A grounding and reflective debrief session once everyone returns from sailing
The sessions are designed to offer practical tools that support calm under pressure, mental clarity, emotional regulation, recovery, and confidence in dynamic sailing environments.
Breathwork for Sailors
Breathwork for Sailors: Focus, Performance & Recovery
A 3-Week Course
High-pressure situations on the water demand clear thinking, quick decisions, and a steady nervous system. This three-week course provides practical breathing tools to help sailors stay calm, focused, and resilient—whether racing, cruising, or preparing for a day on the water.
Led by Toronto-based breathwork facilitator and sailor Jeyda Deyna, each session is designed around the unique mental and physical demands of sailing. Drawing from her experience in competitive sailing, international racing, and professional breathwork facilitation, Jeyda combines evidence-informed breathing techniques with practical applications both on and off the water.
Sessions may include guided breathwork, nervous system regulation techniques, visualization, grounding practices, gentle movement, and recovery-focused exercises. No previous breathwork experience is required.
Most sailors spend years learning wind, waves, trim, and tactics—but very few learn how to regulate the nervous system that experiences it all.

"Eye-opening experience. A great gathering of good vibes and creative people. I was able to break down mental and creative blocks. Highly recommend to anyone, creative or not. It changed a lot for me, and creativity was flowing way easier."
