Access & Care
@unit.270 is located on the 2nd floor of Chinatown Centre (222 Spadina Ave) in unit #270. There are numerous entrances into Chinatown Centre and most of them have several steps. The accessible entrance is beyond the 'Everyone Needs a Home' sign, where there's an awning that says ‘Chinatown Centre’. This entrance has no steps and is fully accessible. There are two elevators that can take you upstairs to the gallery. There are gendered bathrooms that are fully accessible on the 2nd floor during regular mall hours. Upon request, there's a non-gendered and private bathroom that’s not accessible. Seating is available at the gallery as well as masks and hand sanitizer (we highly suggest wearing a mask to protect our most vulnerable community members).

WEEKEND BREATHWORK MEDITATION
WEEKEND BREATHWORK MEDITATION - Starting October 19!
We are excited to welcome you to the next chapter in our wellness journey! Beginning on October 19, join us every Saturday morning for an uplifting breathwork session in the cozy and serene Room 212 above Carrot Common, located at 348 Danforth Avenue, just steps from Chester Station.
Come experience a refreshing hour of breathwork and meditation in this tranquil indoor space. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend, offering a chance to reconnect with yourself, release stress, and cultivate mental clarity.
Session Details:
When: Saturdays at 10 AM
Duration: 1 hour
Where: Room 212, Carrot Common (348 Danforth Avenue)
What to Bring:
Comfortable clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows you to breathe easily and move without restriction.
Water bottle: Stay hydrated by bringing your own water bottle.
A blanket or sweater: The room may be cooler, so bring something cozy to stay warm during relaxation.
A pillow or cushion: If you prefer extra neck or back support while seated or lying down, feel free to bring a cushion.
Pre-Session Tips:
Eat lightly: Avoid heavy meals for at least an hour before the session. A light snack is fine, but practicing breathwork on a full stomach may feel uncomfortable.
Hydrate: Drink water beforehand, but avoid excessive fluids just before starting to stay comfortable throughout the session.
Post-Session Advice:
Hydrate: Breathwork can be energizing and detoxifying, so it’s important to drink plenty of water afterward.
Nourish your body: Bring a light snack or plan to have something nourishing after the session to replenish your energy, especially if you feel lightheaded or relaxed.
What to Expect:
No yoga mats are provided, so feel free to bring your own mat if you like, though it's optional as the practice will mostly involve seated or reclined positions.
Chairs will be available for those who prefer not to sit or lie on the floor.
After the session, feel free to explore the local community for healthy snacks or visit the Withrow Farmer’s Market, open through mid-October.
We’re thrilled to embark on this transformative practice together in our beautiful new space. See you there!
