Real seamanship

A practitioner who started on the water long before the breathwork.

Flow is led by Jeyda — sailing instructor since 2008, internationally raced, and trained with the all-women's Canadian Olympic Match Race team. The boat came first. The breath came when she noticed that a good sailor and a good practitioner were doing the same thing — reading subtle pressure, staying loose under load, trusting the long arc of the wind.

For on-water experiences, Toronto Breathwork works with certified charter and outfitter partners vetted operators with Transport Canada inspected vessels, licensed skippers, and the kind of safety standards that don't bend in a stiff breeze. Jeyda designs and leads the experience; the partners run the boat.

That matters when the wind picks up. It matters when a guest is nervous. It matters when ten people you don't yet know need to feel safe enough to take a deep breath in open water.

Sunset Sails

2.5 hr · May–Oct · Toronto Harbour

An evening sail across the inner harbour with a guided breath practice as the sun drops behind the city. Eight guests maximum. Tea and a quiet cocktail included.

A longer half-day on the lake with two guided breath sessions, light food, and time to swim if the weather is kind. Six guests maximum.

Four full corporate sailing experiences — designed by us, sailed with certified charter partners. From a two-hour Harbour Reset to our four-hour Flagship Intensive. See the four formats below.

A guided SUP session on the calm waters off Wards Island, paired with breath practice on the board and on the shoreline. Ferry across, paddle out, settle in, return small group, big sky. Catering optional; we'll share our preferred caterers for groups that want to add food.

A guided experience aboard a 20-person Voyageur canoe out of Centre Island — slow group paddling through the lagoons with breath practice woven in on the water. The largest single-vessel experience we run, designed for teams, families, and groups who want to move together.

Jeyda joins Yoga Sailing Holidays as guest breathwork instructor on a seven-night sailing retreat from Split to Dubrovnik. See the retreat page for itinerary & booking.

— How pricing works

The Sunset Sail and Wellness Sail are productized at fixed per-guest pricing. Public SUP, Voyageur Canoe, and the International Retreat involve partner operators — pricing is shown as a transparent pass-through (ferry, rental, host fees) plus Jeyda's facilitation. Corporate Charters and bespoke engagements are priced by enquiry. No markups on partner services — only the work that's ours.

— Why the boat

A boat is a nervous system
in motion.

There is a physiological reason sailing calms the body. The horizon resets the visual field. The motion regulates the vagus nerve. The wind asks you to pay attention — but kindly, not aggressively.

The emphasis is practical: techniques you can actually return to between sessions. A few minutes before a meeting. Two breath cycles before bed. The protocols are simple enough to use frequently — which is what makes them work.

Sessions are quietly structured: an arrival, a setting of intention, a long active practice, an integration. No props you don't already own. No language you can't bring back to your desk on Monday.

The room is plain. The work is not.

"Jeyda is an amazing energy orchestrator."
